Woah! No, they much rather resurrected the class in my view.

PvP update to make Weapon Spells more reliant on Spawning Pawer gives people a good reason to have a Ritualist in their party.

PvE update has brought back Ritualist's primary purpose which is to summon spirits, finally they are something more than Splinter Weapon healbots. ^^

And my post was related to it Einher. You said They had ruined rits, I saw what people posted and said that you could see it in 2 ways.

Tought, I'll admit they probably were a bit too harsh with the time nerf. But then again I'd need someone to calculate how much Spawning power you need to get the old effect before we can decide if it's a possible buff or a complete nerf.

As someone who was unable to play GW for over a month, finally coming back and seeing my favorite class change was a definite high point.

However, I still think Anet needs to somehow link SP to item spells by giving a bonus rather than crippling other professions who want to utilize them. Again, though, the problem lies in the fact that some item spells are better to hold while others are better to release.

I enjoy it I made a Rit long time ago just so I could be a spirit spammer! but back then cast time was way too long and got interrupted by everything and the recharges sucked. Now I can actually play my Rit again with the build I wanted too when I first made it, now my Rit isn't collecting dust holding my extra weapons and golds hahaha

It almost seems like people who are playing this game for a challenge have disappeared and got replaced by mindless scrubs who dont want to put effort into anything at all anymore.
Maybe I'll have to realize that Anet has been catering towards these people for a while now, which would explain my lack of interest in guild wars after the recent changes.

Item and Weapon spells are just as unique for rits as spirits. Apparently to some ppl in this thread giving arguments, as to why you don't think this update is all that, is the same as QQ, WAAAAA, etc.
